Test to help your necks

I cannot for the life of me figure out why my photos are not posting in the correct orientation.  They are perfect on my screen.  I am doing a test to see if I can figure out where the problem is.  I hope to help you neck when reading our blog if I can figure it out.

    1. Oh Greg, I wish you were here to help me fix it. Thanks for the info, I still stumble through it to see if I can make any sense of it.

      1. Since you’ve had some others comment that they look OK on theirs and they don’t here, it may also be related to the browser as well. But, I also have a couple of Blogspot sites and the photos from my camera (Android phone or Canon digital) always seem to come out alright. Are you using an Iphone for most of these?

        1. Hi Greg,
I figured out how to remove the EFIX. I thought it was working but it depends on how people look at out site. Some people see our pictures fine. We had a friend who said it was fine on her tablet and Google but Internet Explorer the pictures were all ascue again. UGGGGG!
Thanks for the input. I may try removing the EFIX for a while and see if in general it improves.
          I appreciate your input.
We are getting ready to make the run for the Keys. We expect to be there in about a week.

          1. Karen: I just looked at the last post and all of the pictures looked fine! Most importantly, they weren’t at this end using Google Chrome, so the EFIX removal did the trick.

How early are you going over to the Bahamas? Might you still be in the upper keys by the last of March? I’m going to be in Key Largo for a week then with my wife and two grandsons.

          2. Hi Greg,
Sorry for the delay getting back to you. We are going from Miami to West End tomorrow morning 2-12-17. When we come back we will probably land north of there, so unfortunaely we will miss you in Key Largo. We just came from there to Miami and we like it a lot. Have a great time!

  1. Karen: They are all sideways or upside down up here This is a fairly common problem and can be fixed by removing the EXIF data from your pictures. I think this is done in your camera, but aren’t sure. This link might help: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/blogger/KCLi4yHq-0s

You can also Google “picture rotation in Blogger” and check out some of the references. You aren;’t alone on this!

I get here once a week or so and have enjoyed hearing about your trip.
